Who Are We?

WELCOME!

As part of our research into blogs for EDUX423: Technology Enhanced Learning, (a paper delivered through Moodle by the University of Otago) a group of 4 learners have created this blog to present our research and thinking on blogging in education.

The pages show our research and the sidebars contain many links to other resources on the Net.  If you have ideas for other links we can include, please add your links as comments or email the organisers.

We want to involve everyone in as much discussion and debate as possible.  We are looking forward to reading your comments.

The Blog Team

Mary Furnari
Originally from the U.S but now living permanently in NZ, I'm a second year Masters of Ed student at the University of Otago. I've worked in international education in higher ed for many years and before that I taught English overseas, as well as special education in the U.S. I'm keen to learn more about the use of blogs to promote collaborative, interactive social learning spaces.

Hope you will join us our exploration of blogs!

Masters of Ed student.  I have been teaching for 20 years.  Firstly Typing, then Text and Information Management and Computing and now Business Administration and Digital Technologies.  To my surprise, I have developed quite an interest in Web 2.0 technologies and as part of this "blogging".  But, you can't take the typing teacher completely out of me, and my other real interest is in children's keyboarding skills and safe working practices (ergonomics).  I am really enjoying working with this team and look forward to our Edux 423 colleagues joining in.
